What is Data Science?
Data Science is the study of data in which we use data to find important insights and making Business Decisions. It is interdisciplinary field of Science in which we used the different algorithms, methods to find out or extract the knowledge in data. In Data Science we use the many technology, tool and creativity to find out the hidden pattern in data.
Data which is used is Structured or Unstructured, in simple term we can say that data science is about the gathering, processing, analyzing the data to extract some important insights which can be used for many purpose.
Data Science can first gather the data and then process the raw data to solve the business problems . it give us the prediction and future trend and requirements. For example if any company has raw data , data science can give answer to this questions
- What the customer want?
- How company improve their Service?
- What is the latest and Current Trend in Sale?
- How much Stock is now required and Available?

Increasing Demand of Data Science
Now a days, Data Science is high Demanding Career path in Industry. Today data is generated very rapidly and in Massive amount, so the demand of the Data Scientist is become increases to further grow by the 35% to 40% in 2025.now Data Science Is not only used for data processing and analysing but we can used it with AI and ML also. Using this technologies like AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning) and other advance technology, data science can solve the many real world problems and train advance Systems without need of the Human.

Key Responsibilities of Data Scientists in the IT Industry
- Data Collection :- in this we can collect the data from different sources like database, API files
- Data Cleaning : collected Raw data can clean means handling Missing Value, remove duplicates to ensure the accuracy and consistency in data
- Data Exploration(EDA) : Analyse and Visualise the data and find out the pattern, relationship, anomalies, trend in data
- Feature Engineering : Find out the relevant and useful data from raw data or database for the better performance .
- Modeling : First Choose the best model or algorithm and then build the statistical or machine learning model (eg. Regression, classification , Random Forest etc.)
- Evaluation : in this we test the model using the metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, RMSE, etc. and refine them.
- Deployment: Deploy this model in real world using the API and integration with websites or Apps
- Finding the Business insights : the result we got cannot understand the non technical person so we can translate this technical finding into the business insights and recommendation
- Collaborations: here we can work with other job profiles like data engineers , software developers, website developers, and data analyst or Business analyst .

Data science vs data analytics
Data Science and Data Analytics both are used in Extracting the Information in raw data . both are the crucial but they focus on different things . Data Science is focusing on the methods include in the Machine Learning and prediction and find out the insights . In Data Analytics, its focus on the processing and performing Statistical analysis on raw data like datasets and answer the related questions.
